Xbox 720 to get Wii U style screen controller?

Microsoft’s next generation console – so far named the Xbox 720 – could be set to receive a controller much like Nintendo’s Wii U, with a screen built-in.
The rumour comes from an insider at Microsoft who claims the controller will feature a high definition touchscreen that can be used to interact as part of the game. It will also be useful separately when the console is turned off, but for exactly what is unclear – gaming seems obvious, but web browsing too?
Other than a free tablet with every controller, Microsoft is also giving us improved Kinect powers. Both visually and on the audio front, Kinect will have greater visual sensitivity and directional sound. All that and it’s only going to be £400. Where did we put that salt grinder?
