Ouya's Android console smashes US$2 million barrier on Kickstarter

Remember the US$100 Ouya Android games console? Well it's just broken a Kickstarter record for the biggest first day of any project and has currently raised a whopping US$2,224,600 of its initial US$950,000 goal. Impressive eh?
Packing a Tegra 3 processor along with 8GB storage, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB 2.0 and an SD card slot, the Ouya will also arrive with a single controller, complete with in-built touch sensor.
Designed to be easily hackable, this little silver Android box could cause quite a stir in the console market and we can't wait to get our hands on one and take it for a spin.
Check out the Ouya Kickstarter page if you want to add your money to the pile and join us in counting down the days till it's released.
