Windows 8 Release Preview release date tipped for first week of June

Microsoft has announced its Windows 8 Release Preview will be available for budding OS aficionados to download from the first week of June.

Announced via its Building Windows 8 Twitter account, the Release Preview is expected to be more stable than the Consumer Preview, although more specific changes are yet to be revealed.

This latest preview version of Windows 8 is expected to be the final release before the full launch of Microsoft's latest OS, expected to drop in October.
