Sky Movies companion app announced

Sky scooped up the award for App of the Year at last night’s Stuff Awards 2011, and now it's announced a follow-up Sky Movies app – so we’re excited.

The new Sky Movies app will work with Sky Go and Sky+ to deliver a guide to what’s both on Sky and at the cinema, with links to view trailers - and films, using Sky Go. It'll also enable Sky Movies subscribers to record films through the Sky+ app.

Sky plans to incorporate reviews too, but not on the companion app's initial release in the next few weeks.
