Acer CloudMobile to launch at MWC

The first Cloud smartphone from Acer will be an Android 4.1-toting dual-core beauty

Acer is to step into the smartphone battlefield with its own stunner of a mobile called CloudMobile at Mobile World Congress, according to DigiTimes.

So far the Acer CloudMobile’s specs are rumoured to include a qHD 4.3in screen, 1.5GHz dual-core heart and Android 4.1 OS, not to mention a glossy premium design. The big sell is that it wall have access to Acer’s Cloud servers meaning your storage capacity is immediatly vaster than the phone itself. It might want for power in the company of, say, the HTC Endeavour, but we’d expect Acer’s first smartphone to get a more attractive price than HTC’s top-whack mobile. Check our MWC coverage for full details the moment they’re revealed.
