Getting a good fit with the Saiteks takes experimentation with the four sizes of backband that come in the box – and you’ll still look like an incidental character from Star Trek once you’re done. Is sci-fi chic in this year? If not, be prepared for comments.

These pair with a dongle, not a phone, although they do have a stereo mini-jack input if you want to wire them up – on a flight perhaps. They sound only average, with little distortion but no appreciable oomph. Just six hours battery life, too. It’s not a perfect situation, but if quirky looks are your thing, you’d be forgiven for grabbing these headphones and forgiven again for dumping them for their mediocrity.
