Sonos speakers including the portable Sonos Roam 2 are on sale for the Memorial Day holiday weekend in the United States.
Both Amazon and Sonos are offering the Sonos Roam 2 for $134, which is a 25% saving on the $179 asking price. That’s a $45 saving. Delivery is free for Amazon Prime members and you can choose from the black and white options. Sonos is also offering free delivery, but not quite as fast, with more colour options including red, blue and green.
The handy second-generation speaker enables users to bring the party anywhere they, ahem, Roam with ten hours of battery life. It’s pretty compact and lightweight and , thanks to the IP67 dust and water resistance, it’ll manage the thrills and spills of time at the beach, pool, or the odd summer shower.
The Roam 2 offers Sonos’ TruePlay compatibility, even when out in the open, meaning you’ll get a great experience while on the go. Even though it’s designed to be used here, there and everywhere, when you’re stationary it can connect to Wi-Fi and other Sonos speakers on your network. It works with AirPlay 2 also.
The Tolberone-shaped Roam 2 came out in March 2024 improved upon its predecessor with separate power and Bluetooth buttons, joining the tactile buttons for play/pause/skip .etc. There’s also a voice button to unlock Alexa voice commands.
