Sky Now TV pay-as-you-go service announced

No Sky contract? Soon you can get online and download each show and pay one at a time

Sky is launching Now TV, a new pay-as-you-go web service designed to appeal to those of us scared by monthly contracts, but eager to watch the latest films and TV legally.

Now TV will be a Sky powered service laying out the newest films and TV shows for anyone to rent. If you want to pay monthly you can, or you can simply pay for what you use. And where will you be able to use it, you ask? Deep breath. On PCs, Macs, laptops, desktops, tablets, mobiles, consoles and smart TVs. Breathe out.

Now TV will be coming this summer with pricing and further details due nearer to release.
