JBL OnBeat Xtreme gets your iPad dizzy

Make your iPad, iPhone and iPod feel drunk with this rotating dock

There are iPad accessories and then there are iPad accessories. The OnBeat Xtreme rotating iPad dock from speaker dons JBL is the latter – it’s about the same price as Apple’s tablet and you’ll want to show it off just as much.

The OnBeat Xtreme’s dock connector will also happily accommodate your iPhone and iPod Touch and for other smartphones and PMPs, there’s a 3.5mm input jack so we know that JBL isn’t playing favourites.

If you can’t bear for your phone or tablet to leave your side for a second, JBL has kitted the Xtreme out with Bluetooth so that you don’t need to dock your iOS or Android device to blast out your music through the dual Atlas bass drivers and Ridge tweeters.

It can also double up as a speakerphone for Skype and FaceTime calls – so while the £400 price tag on the OnBeat Xtreme might look steep, you can tell yourself you’ve saved money on that home phone.
