Logitech outs premium PS3 Guitar Hero instruments

Logitech has outed two new PlayStation 3 instrument controllers for Guitar Hero, giving you both wireless functionality and the benefit of looking a l

The Logitech drum controller already inches ahead of the original Guitar Hero kit thanks to its wireless functionality, but its build also helps to give it bragging rights against the originals. With fully adjustable, ultra-responsive pads so you can get comfy before you play, the drums also boast a recessed-rim design to help make it easier to score points.

On two AA batteries, you’ll get up to a whopping 50 hours play, and once you’re done you can fold them down in seconds to whack under your sofa out of the way.

If you’re more of a guitar person of course, Logitech has also released its second wireless guitar, complete with a super realistic finish of a maple neck, rosewood fingerboard and metal frets.

Reduced button noise is managed through a touch sensitive slider on the fret board so you can simply tap the notes, and the guitar is able to be played up to 30 feet away from the console, just in case you’re that way inclined.

Available in a rather smart black finish, this guitar will really give your Guitar Hero friends a touch of instrument envy.

Both instruments will weigh in at £179 each – drums hitting shelves in August, while we’ll have to wait for the beginning of September for the flashy guitar.

Would you fork out the premium for such nice looking instruments? Let us know below.
