LG G Flex 2 will hit shelves on 19 March
The curvier-than-average handset will be wrapping itself around heads in just a few months
If you’ve been holding out for LG’s second generation G Flex, then you’re in luck – it’ll be available to pre-order from 28 February, and can be in your hands on 19 March.
We were impressed with the LG G Flex 2 during our hands-on with it at CES earlier this month. It offers improvements from its predecessor in almost every single way, with a smaller, more manageable 5.5in 1080p screen, shiny new Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 innards, 2GB of RAM and a 13MP camera with laser autofocus and optical image stabilisation.
The design of the G Flex 2 is however, its biggest appeal. It stands out, not only due to its comfortable curved shape, but also its rear finish. The red model in particular is reminiscent of a cherry red gibson guitar, and its self-healing powers seemed to handle the minor scratches that we threw at it.
There’s still no pricing information as of yet, but you can pre-register your interest with the Carphone Warehouse.
