Despite our cries that we’re full up and need a more balanced mobile diet, LG has just stuffed two new Chocolate phones into our mouth, and is promising another super-powered version soon.

As you can see, the new models are white (fresh from the Amazon’s cacao trees) and pink (hot from a run-in with a candy floss machine).

Both have identical specs to the original KG800, which means a 1.3MP cam, 128MB internal storage for tunes and Bluetooth. They also have the red back-lighting which, in combination with the pink paint-job, is making us feel quite ill.

A little more appetising is the promise of a premium version of the original Chocolate this winter, which will follow these two showboaters’ debut in the autumn.

LG’s UK office says it can’t release details on that model yet, but it’ll probably be either the KG810 clamshell or ‘Black Label’ versions that are already on sale in Asia.

We’d greet either model with a warm hug. The former hides touch-sensitive keys under its external screen and adds an FM radio to the specs, while the ‘Black Label’ model sports gold trimmings and 512MB memory.

There are no exact release dates or prices for pinky and whitey yet. We’ll update you when they’re announced.
