iPhone 18 Pro colours leak again – and Dark Cherry is still stealing the spotlight

Which one would you go for?

Which iPhone 18 Pro colour would you go for? Granted, it’s an unusual question, given that the iPhone 18 Pro ( a future contender for our list of the best smartphones) isn’t expected to launch until September.

But plenty of new reputable leaks appear to have revealed the final hues all the same – with the previously leaked Dark Cherry finish (shown above) once again in the spotlight.

The latest leak comes courtesy of a Weibo photo shared by Chinese leaker Ice Universe, which shows four camera protection plates in black, silver, wine red, and blue. It’s important to note these aren’t actual Apple components, but third-party protective camera cover accessories designed to complement Apple’s expected finishes.

The colours line up closely with recently leaked finishes for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max – namely, Light Blue, Dark Cherry, Dark Grey, and Silver. The wine red plate in this new image appears to match the rumoured Dark Cherry shade – described previously as a deeper, more refined red rather than anything blaxingly bright.

If nothing else, this adds weight to the idea that Dark Cherry could be this year’s standout finish. Apple has made a habit of introducing a more distinctive Pro colour each cycle, and this would fit that pattern – especially if, as previously reported, last year’s Cosmic Orange is being dropped, despite its popularity.

As ever with Apple leaks, nothing is certain until Tim Cook and co. take the stage in September, where the iPhone 18 Pro colours will be officially revealed alongside the rest of the iPhone 18 lineup. And let’s not forget the long-rumoured folding iPhone, aka the iPhone Ultra. We expect plenty more rumours and leaks before then, though, so watch this space
