I recommend Yoto to all new parents, and now it’s even easier to recommend thanks to this Black Friday deal

The screen-free audio player from Yoto is a must-buy for new parents, now its excellent value thanks to Black Friday

I’ll be honest: some bits of parenting kit end up in the cupboard within a week. Yoto isn’t one of them. We’ve used ours every single day since our little one was tiny, and it’s quietly become one of those things I can’t imagine doing without.

Bedtime stories, calming music, something soothing while we’re out and about – it handles the lot without ever flashing a single pixel at them. That’s the real magic. It keeps them entertained, but without the glazed-over, screen-stuck stare parents dread.

This year’s Yoto Black Friday sale makes it even easier to recommend. Yoto is knocking up to 30% off its bundles in what it’s calling its biggest sale ever, and the savings are actually decent. If you’re buying your first player, or you’re stocking up on cards before Christmas, it’s a good moment to jump in.

For anyone who hasn’t heard of Yoto before, it’s a screen-free audio system built for kids aged roughly 3 to 12. You pop in little cards, and they play stories, music or activities. There are over 1400 titles available, ranging from Roald Dahl to Disney to BBC classics. The players themselves are solid, well-designed, and kid-proof.

My favourite part, though? You can control everything from your phone (very useful when nap-trapped). You can also play any card you own directly from the Yoto app, which has saved me more than once when we’ve left the player at home but still needed something to keep the peace.

You can check out everything in Yoto’s Black Friday sale here.

It’s Yoto’s bundle packs where the real value is, though. These include a player and a load of cards, some with more than 55 hours of audio. Here are the standout offers this year:

If you’re shopping for a toddler, a school-age child, or just trying to keep the house a little calmer, I think Yoto genuinely helps. And with prices like this, it’s a much easier recommendation than usual.
