Fire TV Stick 4K Max deal – the best Fire TV streaming stick is now £25 cheaper on Amazon Spring Deal Days

The speedy Alexa-powered streamer has dropped to a rather palatable £44.99

If your TV’s smart platform is slow, messy, or missing apps, you need one of the best streaming sticks. And there’s good news – a new Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max deal means that the best Fire TV streaming stick is now £25 cheaper, thanks to Amazon’s Spring Deal Days sales event.

Amazon has dropped the Fire TV Stick 4K Max to £44.99, down from its usual £69.99 – a 36 per cent discount that makes one of the best Fire TV streaming upgrades even better value.

That’s a particularly tempting price when you consider we called it the best Amazon Fire TV device around for both features and value in our review.

The Max version earns its name thanks to faster performance and Wi-Fi 6 support, which helps apps load quicker and keeps streams. Compared with the standard Fire TV Stick 4K, Amazon bumps the RAM up to 2GB and slightly increases processor speed – something the company says can make the interface around 40 per cent faster.

In practice, that translates into a slicker experience when jumping between apps, browsing menus, or asking Alexa to find something to watch.

And there’s plenty to watch. The Fire TV Stick 4K Max supports 4K streaming with Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+, HLG and Dolby Atmos, meaning it can handle modern streaming formats without breaking a sweat.

App support is just as comprehensive, too. Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV+, YouTube, Spotify, Now TV and UK catch-up services are all available, so you’re unlikely to miss any major streaming platform.

Setup is refreshingly simple as well. We found it only took a few minutes to get everything running, with most apps letting you sign in through a web browser instead of painfully typing passwords using the remote.

The device does lean heavily into Amazon’s ecosystem – something that we noted in our review – but the excellent app support and Alexa integration largely make up for it.

At its usual price, it already offers strong value for a streaming upgrade. And at £44.99, this Fire TV Stick 4K Max deal is even easier to recommend.
