Little UK tech company Evesham has just announced a suitably humble alternative to Sony’s LocationFree TV revolution: this portable digital LCD.

Rather than chucking your home telly’s signal round the world, the 7in Pocket Theatre sports a digital tuner to let you tune into any free-to-air broadcasts.

It’s certainly not the first of its kind – Bush and Maplin recently launched 7in and 8in models (story here) – but it does offer a reasonable three hour battery life and come with an EPG guide to help you plan out those wild caravan holiday nights.

An AV-in port means it can be connected to consoles, camcorders and DVD players, and a TV-Out lets you use it as a digital receiver for a bigger telly.

If you fancy squeezing one into your suitcase, it’ll be available from the Loweston website for £150 in the next couple of days.
