News just in the Channel 4 is expanding its online, on-demand 4oD to include a catch-up service. Viewers will be able to watch all its commissioned content for up to seven days after broadcast – and the even better news is that it’s absolutely free.Whether you’re a fan of Skins, a Countdown nut or just want to marvel in morbid fascination at The Charlotte Church Show, it’s all up there for the taking come March 26.“What’s the catch?” we hear you cry. Well, bought-in US shows and other C4 archive pieces will still only be available on a pay-per-view basis, and C4 is using its expanded service as a chance to trial “pre-roll” advertising and sponsorship clips at the beginning of shows.
