All Asus tablets to get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update

Asus Germany reveals that the entire Asus tablet line will be chowing down on delicious Jelly Bean

Asus has revealed that its entire tablet range will be upgraded to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean – including the older Eee Pad Transformer TF101 and Eee Pad Slider SL101, alongside the Transformer Pad Infinity, Transformer Prime and Transformer Pad 300.

Asus Netherlands initially denied that Jelly Bean would be making its way to the TF101 and Slider, but Asus Germany quickly revealed that the entire range will be upgraded to the latest version of Android. Pocketdroid hit Google Translate and posted the – somewhat garbled – German-to-English translation here.

Asus is keeping the details of when Android 4.1 will launch on its tablets under wraps, but if you want to find out what extras you’ll be getting, check out our Android Jelly Bean need to know.
