Apple Lightning port gets a Lego brick cap

Now you can use an iPhone as the centrepiece for your latest building block masterwork

Design studio KBme2 has created something that brings together two of our favourite things in the world: iPhones and Lego.

Bricking it

Dubbed the “Brick Lightning Cap”, it’s a tiny Lego-compatible piece of plastic that slots into the Lightning port on an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. You can then go to town with your other Lego bricks, creating accessories (a kickstand would be incredibly simple to build, for instance) or customised backs.

It probably isn’t the most practical of add-ons for an iOS device, but could certainly add a measure of fun to one.
