Ever found yourself ankle-deep in hedge clippings, muttering at a petrol strimmer that won’t start? Mova’s new 60V platform might be your ticket out of garden tool purgatory. At CES 2026, the brand rolled out a full set of smart, cordless tools that all run off one battery. They also share software, sensors, and over-the-air updates.

The battery is no slouch – it offers 60V of torque-friendly power. It can juice back up with a 30-minute recharge, and it’s so easy that you slot it into anything in the range and you’re off. And there’s a tool for everything you could need in your garden.

I think the trimmer’s probably the hidden gem of the range. It’s got a centrally mounted motor and dual-line 16-inch width, but the smart bit is the weight balance. It doesn’t feel like a kettlebell on a stick – the carbon-fibre handle and telescopic shaft actually make long sessions manageable. You can wash the cutting head, it’s IPX4-rated, and the thing doesn’t vibrate like others I’ve tried.

The lawn mower is self-propelled, but it also adapts to how fast you’re walking thanks to Mova’s PaceMate system. No more yanking the mower back when it sprints ahead. The high-torque motor and three-mode cutting deck mean mulching, bagging, or side discharge is sorted – and it’s quiet enough to not disturb your neighbours. The leaf blower shifts air at up to 1000 CFM and 200 mph, with interchangeable nozzles and an anti-static system that helps in winter.

Then there’s the chainsaw with an 18-inch bar and a 26 m/s chain speed. The clever bit here is Mova’s Adaptive OilPulse system that adjusts lubrication depending on what you’re cutting. You also get digital speed feedback, so you’re not just guessing whether it’s struggling to cut. Lastly, the hedge trimmer brings a 25-inch dual-action blade that handles thicker branches than most. The rotatable handle with EvenTrim angle-sensing helps when you’re up a ladder awkwardly trying not to slice your extension cord.

Mova’s companion app gives you diagnostics and live data, while OTA updates promise improvements post-purchase. Whether that means better performance, bug fixes, or surprise features down the line remains to be seen, but it’s a compelling promise.

After a launch at CES 2026, Mova’s 60V Intelligent Cordless Garden Tools Series will start rolling out internationally in spring 2026. You’ll be able to order it online and from select retailers across North America and Europe. Pricing hasn’t been announced yet, but we’ll bring you the latest when it has been.
