Apple Fitness+ ‘big plans’ teaser hints at major new plans for 2026
What's in store for Apple Fitness+ in 2026? Something big, according to teasers closing out 2025
Apple’s Fitness+ service is on deck for a major revamp in the New Year, judging by teasers the company posted to social media on Monday.
In a post on December 30, some of the platform’s trainers were shown holding mocked-up newspapers with headlines hinting at what’s in store for 2026. “Experts predict January will be one to watch” reads a sub-headline below “2026 Plans Still Under Wraps-For Now”
Those other headlines include:
- What’s Apple Fitness+ Planning for the New Year?
- Something Big is Coming to Apple Fitness+
- The Countdown Begins. Apple Fitness+ 2026 is Almost Here
This could be hinting at the rumoured AI-based Apple Health+ service, which could offer a more personalised training program for users. However, it is also said this would need to rely on the revamped Siri LLM, which is still in works and not due until the spring.
However, whatever Apple is cooking up here sounds like it’s coming down the pipeline imminently. It’s possible this could be related to an announcement pertaining to New Year’s Resolutions, or it could be some brand new features are on the way?
Fitness+ is designed for Apple Watch users primarily as it deeply integrates with the users’ personal data and health metrics. It’s also really useful for AirPods Pro 3 owners thanks to the integrated heart rate monitor. It currently includes access to strength training plans, yoga, HIIT, meditation, dance, rowing, pilates and others. There are 12 in total. What can Apple have in store next.
