Virgin Media’s TiVo service gets BBC sport and news app

Stuff's home cinema gadget of the year gets sporty

Virgin Media’s TiVo has already walked away with Stuff’s home cinema gadget of the year award, and now users can look forward to the addition of the BBC’s red button services along with a new BBC Sport and News app – all set to drop next year.

The familiar red button service will include on-demand streaming and additional content, while the new BBC Sport app will serve up all you need for the 2012 Olympics and more.

The BBC News app will also be available to download next year via the apps and games section, so not too long to go before your news and sports fix is a mere red button press away.
