Samsung's ES9000 has taken the gorgeous app-filled 3D ES8000 – our current No.1 TV and reviewed here – and super-sized it to a 75in display with a teeny 0.31in rose-gold coloured bezel.

Like the ES8000, the new flagship TV comes with a built-in camera for gesture controls and video calls plus web browsing and family-friendly apps. The ES9000 packs dual-core innards for speedy downloads and navigation plus with Samsung's Smart Evolution kit you'll be able to upgrade the insides in a year or two without replacing the whole set-up.

The ES9000's picture quality should also match its predecessor – if not better it, since according to Samsung the 9000 has the highest contrast ratio for a Samsung Smart TV ever. If you fancy a 3D movie, it also comes with four pair of Samsung's comfy 3D specs thrown in.

A free Angry Birds app was shown off in New York alongside the new TV – it uses the ES9000's camera to let you play the game using Kinect-style gestures, and will be available on LED models from the 7500 and upwards.

The ES9000 is hitting the States in August for a not inexpensive US$10,000 (£6,360) but there are no details on a UK launch just yet. Fingers and toes crossed.

It is reincornation of old TV+Video, the only difference that TV now costs around $1000. So if it is broken you lose an extra paid for Android applications processor. It does not worth of buying. Most likly your TV would work for 10 years, but Android applications processor would be obsolete in maximum 2-3 years.
