Google’s cut-price tablet hits Currys and PC World, starting at just £159

The Google Nexus 7 tablet finally hits the UK high street today, popping up in Currys and PC World stores. We’re big fans of the Android slate – take a look at our review to see why – and at a piffling £159 for the 8GB version it’s a bit of a steal.

Built by Asus, powered by a quad-core Tegra processor and sporting the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, the 7-inch tablet is beautifully made and speedily slick to use. It might not be an iPad killer, but as something on which to consume videos, ebooks and web pages it’s pretty darn fantastic.
