Mystery Motorola phone leaked – but it isn't the Google X Phone

A mysterious Motorola handset has appeared on Vietnamese blog Tinh tế – and although the design looks very different from the current generation of Motorola handsets like the RAZR i, it's believed that this isn't the fabled Google X Phone.

Ditching the kevlar of the RAZR i in favour of a smooth, curved design – and sporting a prominent Motorola "M" logo on the front panel, the device – bearing the model number XT912A – features a 4in 720p AMOLED (or OLED) screen, what's believed to be a Snapdragon S4 Pro processor or higher, along with an Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB of RAM and a 2000mAh battery. Respectable specs, but as Google CFO Patrick Pichette recently noted, it doesn't really have the wow factor we'd expect from a Google product.

According to Pichette, there's an 18-month pipeline of Motorola products to work through before we get to that elusive Google-influenced wow factor – so this is likely a mid-range Motorola handset, featuring as it does some Motorola widgets overlaid on stock Android.
