HTC One X and One S Jelly Bean updates on the way

Your fancy new One series handset could be knocking back a sugary Android OS update in the not-too-distant future

Owners of the HTC One X and One S could soon be loading up Android 4.1 Jelly Bean onto their respective devices, if Australian network Telstra’s software update page is to be believed.

Descriptions for both the One XL and One S state that HTC is currently preparing an update, and (with our optimist hats on), we’re assuming the same can be said for the UK equivalent of the One Xl – the One X.

Here’s to hoping that HTC’s Android lab is adding the final touches to a Sense 4.0-infused version of Android as we speak, so keep an eye out for an official announcement fairly soon. We hope.
