Galaxy Nexus screen isn't Gorilla Glass

When the Galaxy Nexus arrived at Stuff towers yesterday we battled furiously over it, tossing it about under the – frankly fair – assumption that it, like most smartphones, would be protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass.
Luckily we didn’t drop it. Because the Galaxy Nexus manages to take a step back from its Samsung predecessor: the Galaxy S II, as it isn't kitted out with Gorilla Glass.
That’s not to say it’s totally weak – according to AndroidAndMe the glass is “fortified,” which is reassuring. Still, we're going to treat it a bit more delicately from now on – hopefully the next-gen Nexus will be wearing Corning’s new Lotus Glass. Keep tuned for our Galaxy Nexus video review later today.
