OnLive cloud gaming UK release date announced

OnLive – the potential gaming medium of the future – is coming to the UK on September 22. Bringing console-free cloud gaming across the Atlantic, it will come with access to over 100 top-tier games, all of which can be played as free demos before you commit your cash.
The OnLive service uses its own servers to render games, meaning you don’t need a speedy connection or great computer. You can play using PC, Mac, tablet or even HDTV connected to the OnLive Game System. And for all you multiplayer addicts there’s Facebook integration and Brag Clip videos of the best (and hilariously worst) gaming efforts, from both sides of the pond. Some games that have been named include F.E.A.R, 3, Homefront Large-Scale Warfare, Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition and Lego Batman.
For all the facts check out our Need to know – OnLive feature and if you're feeling impulsive, you can subscribe at OnLive.co.uk.

I reckon this is an epic idea and I'll be signing up. I am still not sure how you get smooth gaming without and awesome net connection though, so while I think it sounds great I am staying a little frosty till I try it first hand.
