Roberts Radio RD-50 CFM review

A classy looking DAB with a full sound and nifty set of functions. Shame about the mono speaker and it does come at a premium price.

Ah, such refinement. Surely a Roberts owner is a person of unsurpassed taste and old-fashioned values, although not one to ignore the benefits of modern technology.

Sublime retro styling evokes images of cars dripping with chrome and city workers in bowler hats, while a shortcut button for Classic FM sets the owner’s refined musical agenda. The mono speaker has a surprisingly full sound and its owner is someone who perhaps likes to stop for a cuppa, with pause and rewind features on hand to halt Herr Beethoven at a moment’s notice.
