Xbox 720 coming to CES in January

After appearing in Red Steel, specs and an unveil date are all but confirmed

Microsoft and its Xbox 720 rumour has been fuelling our excitement since the logo appeared in the Red Steel trailer (below), but now we’re hearing it could be at CES in Vegas this January, and we can’t sit still.

Keeping us glued to the seat is the large portion of salt that we’re taking with this rumour – which comes from a source close to the Microsoft Infinity hardware team. They’re claiming a 6-core CPU, 2GB DDR3 RAM and a GPU that’s so cutting-edge, it’s still being developed by AMD. Quite a tenth birthday prezzie for Xbox.
