Toshiba has just updated its Camileo camcorder range with two new hi-def models – the H20 and the P30.

Both shoot 1080p footage to SD card, have 5x optical zoom and HDMI connections for putting your ‘director’s cut’ up on your TV. On the looks front, each has a red Camileo tag on the screen edge, and is clothed in a Midnight Blue gloss finish. Classy.

There’s also a new Night Mode for better results when the sun goes down – perfect for the party animal.

The H20 has a 3in LCD screen and a barrel-shaped form, while the slightly cheaper P30 has a 2.5in screen and a quick-draw pistol grip shape.

When you’ve finished filming, you can use the ArcSoft editing tools  and YouTube upload facility to show your epic to the world.

Out next month, they could well be contenders for the Stuff.tv camcorders Top 10
