It’s rare that something gets better with every passing sequel (although we are partial to a bit of Rocky IV) but T-Mobile’s Vario smartphones just keep on packing in the features. Details are thin on the ground right now, but the third instalment in the series boasts more booty than Beyoncé, with an N95-baiting GPS receiver built-in, super fast HSDPA mobile broadband and a rumoured 3MP camera. Vario fans will be familiar with the full slide-out QWERTY keyboard and a ‘tilting touchscreen’ is designed to improve internet browsing. T-Mobile hasn’t told us anymore about this interesting little add-on but we’ve an inkling it’ll be something along the lines of the Ameo’s VueFLO that enabled web pages to be navigated by tilting the phone. Of course the whole thing runs on Window Mobile 6 meaning you’ll never be far from the office with push email, BlackBerry Connect and document editing capabilities. Only one question remains: will it turn out to be a Naked Gun 33 1/3, or a Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines? Keep an eye on Stuff.tv for a review.
