Spring is the time for new arrivals, and amongst the lambs and foals will be some fancy new additions to Sony’s Vaio range, all born with Windows Vista.Best of the bunch is the business-like, ultra-portable SZ4-Series. At just 1.69kg and beautifully slim, it’s the only laptop in the world with two graphics chipsets meaning you can switch between beefy battery or gorgeous graphics depending on your needs. We also like the sound of its entertaining brother, the FE40-Series, with large X-black, dual lamp widescreen LCD display, Intel Core 2 Duo processors and Nvidia GeForce Go graphics card. The runts of the litter are the vibrant C2 range (pictured) with new slightly effeminate looking ‘rediscovery blue’ colour scheme, while the student-friendly (although not Snakebite proof) N20-Series props up the bottom-end.
