Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus looks strangely familiar

iPhone 3GS much? Sammy’s latest handset won't help it prove it hasn’t been copying Apple

The Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus has appeared in photos that show styling lifted right from the Apple iPhone 3GS school of design. As if Samsung didn’t already have enough beef with Apple for lifting ideas, it’s gone and and updated the Galaxy Ace with a model that looks just the same as the 3GS.

It’s not even as if this copyright risk was for a ground-breaking handset. The Galaxy Ace Plus features 1GHz of processing power and rocks a 3.65in display.

With its 320x480px display, expect it to look positively pixelated, though – especially when compared to Samsung’s hi-res flagship, the Galaxy Nexus. But with microSD expansion to 32GB and a 5MP snapper, it’s not a bad Android 2.3 Gingerbread handset – for what should be a very affordable price.

No release date or pricing has been announced but expect details from CES 2012 next week.
