Nook Simple Touch GlowLight hits UK today

Barnes and Noble is taking the fight to Amazon’s Kindle – and the battle for Christmas stocking space begins today

Barnes and Noble doesn’t want Amazon’s Kindle PaperWhite nestling under the nation’s Christmas trees – so it’s unleashed its own glowing ebook reader in the form of the Nook Simple Touch GlowLight, launched in the UK today.

The Nook Simple Touch and Simple Touch GlowLight, both with Wi-Fi and two months battery life, are out now for £80 and £110 respectively. And with over 2.5 million digital books, plus UK newspapers and magazines, these Barnes and Noble ereaders are very tempting indeed.

You can pick your Nook Simple Touch or backlit Simple Touch GlowLight up from the Nook website now.
