Nokia bulks up E–series with E55 and E75

We all knew Nokia would be giving their E–series messengers a heft at MWC. And while the announcement of the dual keypad E75 is less surprising

Clearly aimed at RIM’s killer BlackBerry Pearl, the slim QWERTY device certainly comes with enough to keep the most obsessive of workaholics satisfied. The smallest of the E–series it rocks all the mail, calendar and contacts features you’d expect, plus some neat media functions.

You get AGPS, a 3.2MP camera, radio, 3.5mm jack, Facebook and YouTube access, 16GB SD support and HSDPA up to a lightning fast 10.2Mbps.

The E75, which we’ve already seen plenty of, comes with aforementioned T9 and QWERTY pad, customisable screens for home and work, 3.5mm jack, AGPS, 3.2MP camera, SD support and GPRS as standard, with 8GB card support.

Both are due to land imminently. Keep it locked for UK pricing as soon as we get it from Nokia’s suits. And remember to check out our quick video with the Sony Ericsson Idou.
