Max Payne Mobile release date for iOS and Android revealed

Gun wielding justice will soon be yours as Rockstar's shooter gets shrunk down to a pocket-friendly size

Rockstar has announced that Max Payne Mobile will be hitting iOS devices on April 12th, with an Android version gracing Google phones two weeks later on April 26th.

The full classic PC Max Payne experience has been optimised for the mobile gaming arena with HD graphics and hi-res texture packs, and will play nice with the Apple iPhone 3GS, 4, 4S, iPod Touch 4 and all three iterations of the iPad including the new Apple iPad 3 (reviewed here).

We’re told that a list of supported Android devices will be with us shortly – and we for one can’t wait to carry Max around in our pockets in the very near future.
