Vacheron Constantin’s new Overseas Dual Time Cardinal Points is a tool watch for serious travellers

Vacheron Constantin has unveiled the Overseas Dual Time Cardinal Points. It’s a collection of four new titanium travel watches, each inspired by a point on the compass.
The watches make their debut at Watches and Wonders 2026. They’re among my favourite new releases at the show.
Each of the four models is defined by its dial colour. White represents North and the frozen Arctic. Brown stands for South and the great open plains. Green is West, conjuring dense forests and jungles. Blue is East, where sky and ocean blur into one.
The case is 41mm across and made entirely from titanium. So is the integrated bracelet. Titanium is a smart choice here – it’s genuinely light on the wrist but tough enough to take some punishment. The bezel, crown and pusher ring are all finished in matte anthracite grey, creating a purposeful, tool-watch aesthetic that suits the collection well.
Power comes from Vacheron Constantin’s in-house Calibre 5110 DT/3. It shows two time zones simultaneously, plus an AM/PM indicator and the date. Local time is adjusted via a dedicated pusher. The home time hand is orange, so it’s easy to read at a glance, and a useful contrast against any of the four dial colours.

The movement carries the Geneva Hallmark, guaranteeing the quality of its finishing (and that finishing is exceptional). The bridges are decorated with Côtes de Genève, the mainplate is given a perlage finish even on its underside – a detail that’s invisible once the watch is cased but says everything about the brand’s attention to detail.
The watch comes with an integrated titanium bracelet plus two rubber strap options – one in orange, one in the dial colour. All straps swap without tools using Vacheron’s Easy-fit system. It’s a practical touch that makes this watch genuinely versatile.
The Overseas Dual Time Cardinal Points has history behind it too. The design traces its lineage back to a prototype made for photographer and explorer Cory Richards in 2019, which he wore during an Everest expedition. That connection gives the collection a credibility that many other adventure watches simply can’t claim.
The Overseas Dual Time Cardinal Points is available exclusively from Vacheron Constantin boutiques worldwide. Pricing has not been confirmed at time of writing.
