Spotify Family package gives you multiple Premium accounts and one low bill

Up to four extra people can be added to your streaming package, with each getting a 50 percent discount

Spotify has just announced Spotify Family, a new payment option that allows you to add up to four extra names to your Spotify Premium.

Each of these additional people will save 50 percent on the regular Premium price (currently £9.99 per month) while receiving the same ad-free, higher-quality, mobile app-friendly streaming service.

£30 a month for five accounts?

So, essentially, it’s one subscription with multiple accounts. By our maths, a five-account Spotify Family setup would cost just under £30 a month, which represents a pretty decent saving on the £50ish it’d cost if they were all bought separately.

Spotify says the service will be up and running and available in the coming weeks.
