The D-M37 is Denon’s latest offering in its bookshelf-dwelling M series. It has everything you need from a pint-sized bedroom music box.

For the radio fans there’s a DAB tuner as well as FM and AM with RDS and radio text.

The CD player handles MP3 and WMA files, and there’s a USB port for hooking up your MP3 player. There’s also the optional ASD-1R iPod dock.

If you want to fill your face with bass, there’s a subwoofer output too. But for bedroom duties, the optional CS-M37 speakers pump out 30W each and should do the business nicely.

And essential to any boudoir boom box, it comes replete with the obligatory clock and alarm functions for getting you to work in the mornings.

Why not check out the Yamaha CRX-M170 and Onkyo CS-515DAB too?
