Nok plans to serve up the phone formerly known as the Tube in its flagship stores in London and Heathrow Airport first, with all major networks getting involved a week later on 30 January.

The cell, which was given the official thumbs up back in October 2008, is Nokia’s first attempt at taking on the iPhone, with the super–specced N97 not due out until the summer at the very earliest.

It packs a touchscreen version of Symbian S60, with dedicated music software and support for 16GB of storage. The touchscreen isn’t multitouch, but it worked just fine when we had a play back in late 2008. Check out our full hands–on vid of the Tube in action while you wait folks!
