Keen to rid the world of bulky home cinema systems, Orbitsound has released a new version of its all-in-one surround soundbar.

The T12v3 costs the same as its predecessor and includes the same ‘spatial stereo’ tech, but now comes with an improved subwoofer to generate enough bass to shake your sofa in even larger rooms, plus a cleaner, more balanced sound. On top of that, the remote control has a longer range for those of you concerned about getting square eyes.

The smart, glossy black bar has an integrated iPod/iPhone dock for streaming your music and video to the TV – all controllable by remote. There’s a 3.5mm jack for other music devices, plus a host of other connections including optical, co-axial and composite video. Out in September, it’ll set you back £299.
