For a cat to carry a phone it has to be drop ready and able to withstand the occasional burying. That’s why Office Cat is rather pleased to see the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2 – it can sit in sand, dust or water up to a metre for thirty minutes. It even has enhanced GPS to help outdoor adventurers find their way using the speedy maps of this 4in screened, 5MP camera toting, dual-core, Android Jelly Bean toughphone. Get your paws on one from March.

And while he’s got his toughphone out Office Cat likes to freerun around the garden fences listening to pumping beats through his Monster iSport headphones. At only £8 for this classic Miami based eighties-loving title, you'd have to be mad not to buy it.
