Video review - Google Nexus One
The Google Nexus One arrived with red carpet and a chirpy musical fanfare when it entered the mobile phone arena earlier this year and is the first Android handset to bear the Google name. But as we all know, this isn't Google's first phone and like the T-Mobile G1, it's manufactured by HTC.
The fact Google have proudly plastered their name on its outer shell for all to see has marked a significant change in the big G's attitude. Why this handset?
For a start it's clad in a sleek brushed aluminium design, running Google's super slick Android 2.1 Eclair, complete with 5 home pages and some nice visual touches like its live, interactive wallpapers, which simply serve to compliment its already stylish edge.
With a 1GHz Snapdragon processor underneath its shell, the Nexus One is a well-oiled piece of mobile phone machinery and now it's received its multitouch update, the Nexus One is even better. As it's a Google handset, you can also expect Google shaped extras, such as the visual search tool Google Goggles and Google Voice for speech control.
And we're inviting you to see it in all its smartphone glory in our video review. If you find yourself wanting more, you can suppress your hunger by reading our review, and while you're there why not check out some hands-on pics too and be sure to express your comments below.
