HTC One dethrones Sony Xperia Z to become Stuff's number one smartphone

The Sony Xperia Z barely created a dent in Stuff's luxuriously cushioned smartphone throne before the HTC One came along and graced our hands with its gorgeous machined aluminium curves.
Earning a well-deserved five stars in our full review, the HTC One's razor-sharp full HD screen, innovative 4MP UltraPixel camera and improved Sense 5 experience has allowed it to grab the coveted number one spot in Stuff's Top Ten smartphone list.
The One XL has been booted off the list completely to make way for its shinier, better looking sucessor, leaving the Galaxy S3 and Google Nexus 4 in third and fourth place. The iPhone 5 is now resting at the halfway point, but we expect that all to change when Apple releases the iPhone 5S (or 6) later on this year.
With the Samsung Galaxy S4 due to enter the spotlight tomorrow though, the HTC One's reign could be just as short as it's Xperia predecessor's. One thing's for certain though – it's never been a better time to be an Android fan.

I believe this is a calculated attempt to save HTC with this review. The HTC one isn't in any way better than the Sony Experia Z, whether with build quality though the htc one has good build quality but not close to the Z's premium feel, scree size and display talkless of the worthless camera and video playback. A have tested the HTC one and it isn't up 2 par with the Sony and for any one to suggest it's camera and/or video playback is better than the Z is ludicrous. HTC's generally aren't durable phones, I know people who have had several issues with them in such a small space of time. May I add very few people own HTC's where I am and I won't recommend any ahead of the Sony Experia Z. To make the Z exceptional it is water and dust proof, I guess those that wrote this review do not understand the several advantages of that in every day use. Accidents occur any time, so many people have damaged their phones cause it dropped in water or were unexpectedly caught up in bad weather. I believe only the Samsung will rival Sony's Z and that's cause Samsung already has a name and it takes a while to become No 1 cause I have read and seen so many comments that state categorically that Samsung's specs especially with their processors are there just for the numbers and not cause there's a great difference in performance. Sony have delivered an almost perfect phone and I say almost perfect cause nothing is ever perfect cause there's room for improvement.
