Rumour Mill – Samsung Galaxy S II to get decked out with NFC?

June has come and gone and no NFC (Near Field Communication) enabled Samsung Galaxy S II has made an appearance – outside Korea. But we might not be waiting too much longer to pay for our snacks with a swipe of Samsung's flagship smartphone.

Plans submitted to the FCC, and dug up by Engadget, show a Samsung model with identical dimensions to the Galaxy S II sporting an NFC antenna and set for the US in August. So looks like the best we can hope for is second pick to join the cool kids on the NFC team later this year.
