Motorola RAZR Maxx release date set for May

Motorola has announced that the RAZR Maxx will be release in the UK, Europe and Middle East in May.
The RAZR Maxx offers the same kevlar construction and 4.3in AMOLED screen as its RAZR predecessor (reviewed here), but also manages to pack in a heftier battery, resulting in an impressive 17.6 hours of talk time.
There's no word on whether or not the RAZR Maxx will use the same huge 3,300mAh battery found in its US counterpart, but its 8.9mm thickness (up from the original's 7.1mm) is still thin enough that it won't leave an unsightly bulge in your jeans pocket.
Specific pricing details for the UK have yet to be revealed, so stay tuned for more information as and when we get it.

it's like they read my mind!! i was looking around on the net to see if this was coming to the UK! i hope it has the battery cos i am sick to death of charging my phone every few hours, AND yes, i know every trick in the book to save battery life :P imagine that, getting a phone primarily for its battery life and not its camera, that's what it comes down to for me now.

At last. About time someone listened to the consumer ( are you reading HTC ), as long as the phone has web surfing/video playback/music playback etc and actually lasts all day I don't care what OS it runs.
I have had at least 10 smartphones, with various power adapters, power cases, external batteries etc etc and nothing has worked.
I've just sold my iPhone 4s and will sit back and wait for this.
Hurry up Motorola.
