Kobo to invade WHSmith with in-store shops

Kobo has announced that it will be opening 100 Kobo-branded stores within WHSmith shops across the country over the next year.
The new stores-within-stores will offer casual browsers and e-book worms alike the chance to pick up one of three ereaders from Kobo's range – the Kobo Vox (£150), the Kobo Touch (£80) and the Kobo Wireless (£60).
If you've yet to jump aboard the Kindle bandwagon or are just tired of waiting for the Kindle Fire (reviewed here) to hit UK shores then check out our Kobo Vox review before deciding whether to ditch the paper and bite the e-reader bullet.

I doubt that Kobo could knock Kindle out of the running, the Kindle is too firmly entrenched. Kindle has become synonymous with e-readers, like Biro with ball-point pens, Hoover with vacuum cleaners.
