Grand Theft Auto V won't arrive in 2012

Gamers will have to wait till at least 2013 before getting their hands on a copy of Rockstar's hugely anticipated Grand Theft Auto V, GameSpot reports.

US games retailer GameStop has stated that it hasn't included the upcoming GTA title into its 2012 forecast as it has received no information regarding the game's release date.

Grand Theft Auto V was revealed to the world in a teaser trailer last October, showing that gamers would once again be returning to Los Angeles-inspired Los Santos.

We're expecting a 2013 release date as things stand at the moment but we'll be sure to keep you updated as and when we receive more information from the game-o-sphere.
