Tango video calling app arrives on Windows Phone

Tango on Mango with the video calling app – while you wait for Skype to arrive on Windows Phone

Tango is following apps like Spotify in migrating to the Windows Phone Marketplace – and it’s a good job the video calling app has been snappy about it. With Microsoft having shelled out for Skype this summer, it should only be a matter of time until it’s integrated into the mobile OS.

For now, anyone with Windows Phone 7.5 Mango can make free phone and video calls over 3G and Wi-Fi once they’ve downloaded the Tango app – a fixture on the App Store and Android Market for quite some time already.

If the apps keep coming, we’d say there’s life in Windows Phone yet.
